Tab Berg lives in Fair Oaks and works across California and internationally as President of TAB Communications.
Tab was reared in Colorado farm country and helped run his family’s restaurant outside of Chicago before immersing himself in politics – but he holds onto his roots in family, farming, and fine dining.
He travels extensively for work and pleasure – enjoying sports, adventure activities and fine dining in locales like Chile, Costa Rica, Thailand, Jamaica and Maui, as well as his native Colorado, San Diego, and his adopted home outside of Sacramento.
Tab is a licensed Specialty SCUBA diver, whitewater River Guide, avid mountain climber and professional MMA fighter.
Tab writes and lectures on politics across the nation and internationally and has published numerous editorials in daily newspapers, including the San Francisco Chronicle, San Diego Union Tribune, Sacramento Bee, Silicon Valley & Sacramento Business Journals, and the North County Times. He is a contributing author for the political blog FlashReport.
Tab and his wife are long-time theatre patrons and have enjoyed dining in some of the nation’s finest establishments – but they still love old-fashioned home cooking and friendly bar-b-ques. He’s a fan of Hank Shaw’s natural hunter-angler-garden cooking, good wines and great Scotch.
But the true love of Tab’s life is his wife of 15 years, Elizabeth, their twin daughters, Melissa and Victoria, and their black lab, Bronco.
